As part of my work with the National Trust, I was tasked with designing educational interpretation to accompany Luke Jerram’s Helios exhibition at Dyffryn Gardens. The brief focused on creating a visual connection to the sun, and I expanded the concept by exploring the night sky above Dyffryn. I identified three visible planets and five constellations, each tied to fascinating Welsh myths and storytelling traditions. The final designs blended astronomy, folklore, and visual clarity to create an immersive experience that deepened visitors’ connection to both the cosmos and Welsh cultural heritage.
